Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell is a American chef television personality and former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward techniques for home cooks. Chef Burrell is also a part of several of the city's most prestigious establishments, been studying Italian cuisine and its traditions as well as was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. Early on, while living in the the upstate area of New York, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied following her graduation with an English diploma and Communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most enjoyable time of my life. I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. After graduation, Burrell spent one year studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and worked in Umbria's La Taverna del Lupo as and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, which is a Michelin-starred establishment. It was during this time that her experience in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens the lives of children facing challenges. She is also a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. She speaks about her cooking passion and shares her expertise in the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as speaker and mentor. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne has always said I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share my true passion for life with people.
