Furthermore, Ali also made her appearances on TV screens. A Man Called Hawk and Wally and the Valentines were some of her TV characters. Ali's most memorable project came when she introduced Ashley Banks to life on the hit TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990. The series, which featured Will Smith as the star it was a huge hit. It was the most watched show on NBC and ranked 12th out of the programming from 1990 to 1992. It also won two Golden Globe nominations.
